Mga boss,

May gusto lang akong malaman after reading this thread from page 1. Naguguluhan kasi ako sa mga codes.

1. Bakit may small body ang corolla? maliit ba body talaga?
2. eh yung bigbody malaki? ganun?
3. pano malalaman kung ae92 or ee90 or ee100 ang corolla? nakalagay ba sa VIN yun para malaman?

Hindi ako familiar kasi. Sensya na. Sa wikipedia naman puro E series ang nakalagay. Hindi ako makakita ng magandang website kaya naisipan kong magtanong.

Sabi din nung kapitbahay ko dito na may corolla xl. yung smallbody daw na corolla kaya smallbody ang tawag eh maliit yung makina. yung 2e daw. Kaya yung kanyang corolla xl eh small body daw kasi 2e yung makina. Lalo tuloy ako naguluhan. Anu ba talaga? makina ba or body?

kapag AE92 ang A is engine like 4afe 4af etc. Then Corolla's chassis designation code is "E", so E92 is a sixth generation corolla introduced in 1987
kapag EE100 ung first E which means E series ang engine nya like 1E, 2E, 3E, 4E, 4EFE, 4EFTE, 5E. then E100 is a 7th generation corolla introduced in 1991

Hindi po kasama sa Corolla lineup ang Vios.

Pagkatapos nung AE111 (Lovelife) yung Altis na ang susunod na Corolla.

Yep. The Vios is an entirely different product built by the same company (Toyota). It has nothing in common with the Corolla except for the badge.

AE101 Big Body Corolla - Aminin ko ito when I was a kid, I despised Corollas (except the Altis ah) even though our family had two of those and the reason? Taxi kasi eh. But now (during my 3rd-4th yr hs and college), mas naapreciate ko ang mga Corolla Big Body, lalo na in good condition and in stock. And may laban pa ito against modern ones.

ZZ Altis - Comfortable, and comfortable. Nuff said.

I have always liked Corolla's, particularly the AE101. Back then I regularly rode the black AE101 Limited of a family friend when I am going home from school. And then my lolo used to own a red one too. I found it to be adequately spacious (or was it because I was smaller then?

), and the performance was actually pretty good. Nowadays I still see lots of AE101's on the road, some in TRD form and with aftermarket multireflector headlights and still do look really good.

ZZ Altis- Comfortable enough for you to easily catch some zzz's.

New look is also called "love life" because of its lea salonga ads.

Later model ae101 big body also had abs, airbags, and seatbelts for all occupants. The first time a local corolla had these features. Nissan had them on the Sentra one generation earlier.
