for body/collision repair, sa casa. because the insurance is casa-based.
for maintenance like oil, shocks and suspension/underchassis, fan belt and electricals, and other minor repairs, herran or banawe.
    for aircon, banawe.
for busted bulbs, sa garahe ko.

i more often go to herran, because it's near the workplace. it's not a repair shop. it's a couple of auto supply stores, with its share of independent mechanics standing by..
...pedro gil, near paco market, pedro gil corner benitez.. almost opposite savemore de SM.. sorry but i never got to read the karatulas for their names..
for my alternator, there's yock's a few meters away..
for batteries, there's an official motolite outlet a few meters nearby, that actually honors the warranty, no questions asked!
and there's a tire shop opposite motolite..
parking is tight.. they open 8 or 9 am, and i take pains to be the first customer..
for suspension alignment, i go to otis. the servitek there is almost always "no waiting".

in banawe, i just randomly go to the shops near the aircon shop i patronize (coming from quezon ave and going to del monte, it's the corner shop on the left, 2nd corner).

and as in many places, one has to have some amount of auto-mechanics knowhow, lest they take you for an expensive ride.. but so far naman, the rides they have taken me, have not been too expensive. heh heh.

btw, for oil change, i go to UN petron because they have a promo.. hecho derecho oil plus filter.. i choose the next more expensive mineral oil.. no borloloys.

Sa EXALTA corner Banawe at N Roxas sts. mura labor nila at maayos pa gumawa. Look for Roel yun manager. Just buy your own spare parts.

How about sa kasa, saan recommendation nyo? Dito ako ngayon sa Toyota Marilao. Appointment ko 2PM, pero entertained ako 3PM na. Saan recommended na Service Center?

    EXALTA AUTO REPAIR SHOP
    AKA FULLGEAR

    Palpak.
    Had my car engine overhauled.
Wala pa 1 year puting usok na agad sa crankcase breather at umaakyat oil sa turbo. Lahat dito ko pinapagawa dahil wala akong alam na ibang puntahan at baka mas malala pa kaysa Exalta\Fullgear. Puro sabi nila normal lang daw ang puting usok sa engine crankcase at malakas umakyat ng langis, samantalang lahat ng napagtatanungan ko na shop sabi blow-by or head gasket problem. Kahit minsan backjob may bayad pa rin.
