We got a Cross last December. Couldn't get the hybrid because the waiting time is AT LEAST 8 MONTHS. We needed a car immediately, so we got the gasoline version. Sales people said each branch usually gets only one, at most two, at the start of each month. Called almost every branch in Metro Manila and only one (Cubao) had it available, in-stock, on-site. We checked it out the on Bonifacio day, put down a reservation the next day, paid in cash a day after.

Nice car. No nonsense. Easy to drive. Light steering. Small turning circle. Front seats are firm and very comfortable. Ample rear seat legroom (I'm 5'9"). 2ZR 1.8 engine is peppier but has better gas consumption than my 1.6 Altis 11th gen. ZR engines are also ubiquitous in Corollas for a decade so spare parts will not be a problem. Cold aircon. Wired-only Apple CarPlay. Had the casa replace the puny single horn with a Bosch Europa pair, and install 3M medium mirror tint.

    Happy :-)

yup. friends from Toyota told me that you really need a good backer inside Toyota PH to get a Corolla Cross Hybrid (cash) especially if you want the GR version.

from my personal experience, you might have a better chance getting the Hybrid version from Toyota Subic

Wala namang problema. Visor lang naman ang tint ng windshield ko, at medium tint naman all around. So visibility is ok sa gabi.

Ayos. Cheaper grade na balak ko naka halogen din vs. next grade na naka leds. Konsuwelo din ng yellow light mas okay daw sa ulan, dahil mas reflective ang white light daw?

good thing the t-link is gone wired aa/carplay is tolerable

still bummed that corolla-cross has torsion beam while the cheaper corolla with the same 1.8 engine has independent suspension
