what does the warranty say, po?
in my case, my brand new car's battery was warrantied for only 1 year.

the spectrum of quality control in battery manufacture, is wide. i guess that is what warranty is for.
even then, there are conditions that may hasten battery failure.. including..
discharged condition for prolonged periods.. this includes cars with many electrical toys.. cars that are used mostly at night..
matagtag na daan.. battery plates fall apart more if the battery is constantly given a bad shaking..
batteries that are allowed to dry up their electrolytes..
etc.

mas malaki na stock..? i would have chosen same size or smaller.., if my ride is basic, with few toys.

1 year only. Motolite delivery recommended the type of battery na ipapalit ko. They give me the bigger one which i guess the size that should be standard for the vios. Sakto sa battery tray . unlike the stock na may space pa sa tray. Toyota does cost cutting.

Stock batteries are NORMALLY guaranteed against defects as long as the duration of the car's warranty (at least with my experience).
