sobra pangit ng tint ng casa. lalo na yung platinum at gila. even their free 3M are the lowest variant. you'll be better off having the car tinted outside the casa

What do you mean by pangit? According to them young platinum e di daw katulad ng Gila na nagiging kulay talong. But what about durability and capacity to repel heat?

This is our 1st brand new car kaya medyo takot ako pagalaw sa labas. haha. Any suggestions for a good brand and good tinting shop near marikina or anti polo? Tnx

Hi, am new in this forum and I will be a new owner of the new Vios. I've been reading this thread ever since we gave our deposit for our reservation of a gray metallic unit. It comes with a free platinum tint. Any feedback on the free platinum tint for those who have this tint on their Vios (heat repellant? durability, visibility, etc.? I'm getting medium dark on the sides and back and just a visor on the front.

My plan is to have the Platinum installed and if I'm not satisfied… have it changed in some other shops. Will this not damage the defogger if i will have it removed? TIA

Sir, wag mo pa-visor yung sa windshield, ipa-full mo siya kasi sobrang init pag kasagsagan ng araw, nagsisi ako ba't d ko tinanong yan nung kumuha kami ng Vios, akala ko full windshield yun pala visor lang. Siguro kung naka-full ako hindi ganon kaiinit kapag nabilad sa araw at malakas naman aircon ng Vios kaya mabilis lang lumamig.

Now I'm planning to get the OEM or K-series ng V-KOOL for my windshield, which is dagdag gastos na naman.

medium tint lang naman, OEM 20 or K28 ng V-KOOL, pero tignan ko muna kung kaya, pag hindi dun na lng siguro ko mag-upgrade ng headlights.. which is gastos na naman, wala eh ganun talaga..

i meant it as a joke! an irony!
because a number of car owners did exactly that. result: blinding, poorly-upgraded headlights.
my point is, if you have to upgrade your headlights because of your tints, then tinting is probably a bad idea.

ganun lang talaga siguro, pag hindi naman nagpa-tint ang init sa loob ng sasakyan lalo na pag nasa daan ka, napapaso yung braso mo..

Another worry ko kung full tint in front e yung sticker ng LTO. Sa luma kong car, di ko kinakabit yung sticker dahil baka masira yung tint tapos every year kailangan mo palitan. How true is it that nowadays, kailangan walang tint yung part na kakabitan ng sticker ng LTO sa windshield? How do you manage with the LTO sticker on your tint kung kailangan ng palitan? Tnx

Sa umpisa lang naman yang law-enforcement ek ek ng LTO. Pag nagtagal makakalimutan rin yan.
