Nakakahiya na bumili ng G variant.

The variants now can be easily distinguished from the outside.

The 3rd row and the suspension still sucks though. So kahit maganda on paper ang Q variant, same old problems pa din.

Nothing wrong with a 1.6M purchase. With the lower Idling rpm it is the most fuel efficient suv when stuck in traffic..

    it's a fortuner!
    walang dapat ikahiya, anumang variant.
you can always say, "it's a gift. i had no hand in the decision-making process."
    heh heh.

tingin lagi ako sa cheapest variant muna...

    btw,
i am still wondering why they put the 2.4 into the fortuner and the 2.8 into the innova.
mas marami siguro ang bumili ng innova (because of resultant cheaper price) had their engines had been exchanged.

Because they can make more money with a Fort 2.4L. People will more likely to spend 300k more on a Fort 2.4L over an Innova with a more powerful engine.

For this doc, my "theory" is that they put the 2.8L in the innova so that parts wise, it shares similar parts with the 2.8 4x4 Fortuner and Hilux.

Because if they put a 2.4 in the Innova, mas konti ang "spread" nila to use if just 2.8 of 4x4 Fort and Hilux, since expected majority of sales of those two are 4x2 with the 2.4 engine.

I'm just guessing of course, but it makes sense in my head. Ika nga, mas may "spread' sila to use the parts for the 2 engines. hehe!

But most likely what Egan said. =)

Funny you mentioned that. Some people I know bought a Fortuner because they say it's a symbol that you're already successful in life, or something like that.
