My point exactly Master SE. I came from a Gen. 3 2006 release and the best I ever got was 10 kms per liter, and that was on the NLEX. Dismal, to say the least.

It's one of the reasons I went for an oil burner this time. 4.3L per 100 kms in a CUV is outstanding to me.

If you wanna just postpone the inevitable rack swap, you can try Lucas.

New owner of 2019 RAV4 here; so far really satisfied with the car: looks, power, handling, NVH (although engine is a little loud but that's because of my lead foot)

My only issue is with the 8sp aisin transmission wanting to downshift to 1st gear when slowing down (but not a full stop), then accelerating. There seems to be a TSB regardng a software update to the transmission. I hope the Toyota dealer here is aware of the 'issue'

How is your Fuel Consumption? Did you get the LE / XLE /LTD?

Also I can't seem to find a test unit for the Rav 4. Does the dealership you bought the unit have a test drive unit?

No test drive unit; in fact units are hard to come by, I got the only black unit available LE from TMI. No XLE or Limited available. Fuel economy is average for me, same as my Santa fe CRDI. EDSA rush hour traffic everyday, around 15l/100km

Nice, congrats! 200hp NA motor, port/ direct injection is impressive. I'm a sucker for high-output naturally-aspirated motors.

Let us know what fuel economy you get with the average speed reading to put things in perspective.

Nagkaroon din ng display unit ng LE sa TQA.

    Medyo nalungkot ang relative ko.
Set na kasi siya kumuha ng CRV 2.0S (ayaw niya maliit na trunk ng 7 seater diesel). Kaso gusto niya umabot ng 20 years sasakyan. Sabi ko kung 10 years niya balak i keep, okay pa CRV.

Malalaos at maluluma din ang interior and gadgets sa sasakyan in about 5 years pag release ng bagong model. But a good engine and transmission will never go out of style.
