September 6th, 2017 03:46 AM #995yeah that's "severe". but driving in most provinces falls under "normal"
sabi ko nga it's not like that in other countries. alam din ni Toyota Japan yun, that pinoys are too stupid to realize that it's just fine to drive 10,000/6mo. modern engines and oils na eh. but of course Toyota Philippines rakes in a lot of money by preserving the status quo of 5000/3mo so why would they change it? eh willing victims na nga eh
sa ibang countries di makakalusot yan. but of course this is PH. kaya nga walang asenso diba

September 6th, 2017 10:41 PM #996Hello! Just got our Innova E DSL A/T last night
A little over 8 months ang inabot bago na-deliver sa amin at sa wakas nakuha na din.
Anyways, question lang po...napansin ko kasi while driving it home last night may naramdaman akong konting jerk/arangkada when I release the brake pedal while gear is in neutral and naka-engage ang handbrake. Bale ang sequence ko when stopping ay:
1. step on brakes
2. engage handbrake
3. shift from D to N
4. release brake pedal (the moment na completely released na ang brake saka mag jerk forward ng konti)
Ilang ulit ko ginawa at ganun talaga. Is this normal sa Innova? Weird kasi dahil sa Vios A/T namin wala naman ganung jerk basta naka neutral na ang gear.
Thanks in advance!

Manufacturers should install timer / counter (running time) on vehicle engines just like in generators ... so there is no more guesswork as to whether to follow distance covered or time used ...

September 7th, 2017 10:16 AM #1000From experience generally modern japanese engines can no doubt go on 10t kms oil change interval. Just make sure you use a good quality synthetic and a good filter.
However also from experience there are some engines more prone to sludge than others. Case in point toyota 1azfe sa old rav 4. Ive see a few with different amounts of sludge forming. Though i cannot be 100% sure of their upkeep if i were to own one I'd probably do 5t kms oil changes with a good quality oil even conventional only.
my 19 yr old car .. as in naka 3M .. walang palitan.. maganda sa old 3M ng car namin as in hindi...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
