Yes. Same lang. Software update, ECU and TCM module/computer re-flash. The name "flash" is the term for the memory chip na gamit ng ecu/tcm, dito naka store ung code command/software. Older cars/ECUs uses EEPROM chips. Different terms lang pero same thought.

Parang inupdate lang ang celfone OS like android or iOS. ng mga CP natin or windows sa PC to fix some bugs and have some improvement. Tranny kasi ngaun fully electromechanic na, controlled na totally ng computer mga solenoid, position and speed sensors para maging smooth shifting unlike before na lahat mechanically driven.

tama sir nawala jerk but there still slight feel of downshift from engine if papakiramdaman nyo usually nasa 60 and 35kms pag aabangan mo. hindi tlaga smooth. dont know if lahat ganun.

ano next na balak mo sir? and may response na ba toyota about the downshift feel kung nadala nyu na uli TMP for servicing?

ganun daw tlaga sir eh. no such thing daw as smooth deceleration. may slight pa din daw tlaga pag aabangan mo. same goes din sa mga nasakayan ko na na ecu update din, meron din slight. sa inyo ba sir?

yung sa inyo ba sir parang cvt yung pkiramdam, literal walang slight jerk or downshift syo? sa akin ksi meron pagbaba ng 60 and 35kms

actually sir afte ng tranny change, nwala talaga yun jerking pati un parang jerk when you shift to drive from park mode.. pero di pa ko ng pa eCu update.. till now Ok pa naman di pa bumalik jerking..

My Tranny was first changed but still jerked... Confirmed by the tech guy and had the ECU updated. May slight downsift braking pa rin. Complained about it but their tech guy say no anomalies appeared in their laptop. Normal na daw. If you are a passenger, di masyado halata.

ilang months na yang new tranny mo ngayon? sa pinsan ko after 4 months na smooth biglang may slight na shift shock ngayong september lang. which is wala naman nong kalalabas.

sO tama ba sir, yung syo meron pa din after ma ecu update but not like before? feel of downshift sa makina. as per tmp daw ksi depends sa production date ng tranny. if 16e daw still needs update, but it if 16f already modified na daw.
