It is not surprising, yong ngang walang shift shock nong una biglang nagkaroon. kaya wag na kayo papayag sa software nila, your just wasting your time. mechanical issue yan.

Gas variant kasi yung sa akin 300+ km so far wala naman.

I wasn't even told to wait for the software update, they immediately recommended a tranny replacement.

did TMP give any specific details what is wrong with the current tranny hence replacement is needed?

The Sports mode of Toyota isn't the same with other brands. The indicator only shows the gear changes allowed (S4= from 1st gear to fourth gear), not the gear it is on... Useful only when climbing high incline when set to S1-S2...

Sige pls mga sir..please share kung totally nawala ang shift shock after tranny replacement + kung 'hindi' nabago ang ECU programming.

Kasi feeling ko, kung same pa rin ang ECU version, then the ultimate solution is to replace the transmission. Eh di wow! Can't help to think kung ok lang ba i-risk for dealership mechanics change the 'factory-alignments' of the tranny. Not to undermine their capability, but we're talking about robotic accuracy vs. sipat accuracy.

Mga sir anu po ba manifestation nung jerky transmission? My unit is a 2.4V VE yung conduction sticker got it 6 days ago. Now at around 570km. Parang smooth naman yung movement nang shift lever from P to R and vice versa. What I noticed is that when I slowed down to around 40-20km, parang nag babounce left and right yung sasakyan na para bang dumaan sa maliliit na humps left right, left right, left right, tiningnan ko yung road smooth naman at kahit saan road parang gumaganun, its my first SUV kasi from a sedan hindi ko naman na feel ganito, or is it just the ride quality talaga nag fort at parang paranoid lang ako sa jerky issue na ito?

pero hindi ganon, sa pag change gear ng transmission mo don mo mararamdaman
like 1st gear, 2nd gear or 3rd gear. may kadyot ba.

yan din ang experience sa iba dito boss, try to back read lng po. na experience nila yung jerk ng sasakyan kapag mg downshift from 3rd to 2nd gear.
