for me, yes. if you listen to hi-res music formats and the HU can able to play the music as it is recorded to then it makes a big difference in sound.

When do you usually replace the drive/serpentine belt? May kasabay ba itong dapat ipagawa or palitan? Ours is a 2018 Fort Dsl, GD engine. Thank you!

    innova here.
the howner's manual indicates the service interval, i think.
but i regularly inspect my belt, looking for (premature) signs of wear, i.e., minute cuts across the belt.

do i practice the "xxx months or km or signs of wear, whichever comes last" ?
    heh heh.

belt lang, unless one spies other parts in need of service or replacement..., e.g., squeaking idler (for cars that have).

have i ever had my fan's clutch re-packed?
    never.
    kahit anupang sabihin ng mekaniko.
    130K km and still going.

Thanks doc! Sa manual kasi inspection lang din ang nakalagay so I asked here for second opinion or experience.

I decided to change it every 80k for peace of mind or pwede din every 5 years or earlier if may makitang cracks or damage upon inspection as suggested by dr. d. Our 09 Vios lasted 112k or 8 years. Hindi mo din talaga masabi kasi depende din sa driving conditons. I'll treat it like a timing belt just to be on the safe side.

Just went to Toyota and inquired for a cabin filter and me-oh-my!! It costs 4,754 petot, it's charcoal daw kasi. So my question is okay lang bang hindi charcoal ang gamit? I just checked ours at charcoal type nga yung nakasalpak ngayon.

I also inquired for other basic items/consumables, Hope this helps other members in the future:
    item part no price
    15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil 1L 08880 83434 239
    Oil filter 90915 YZZD2 546
    Air Filter 17801 0L040 1,398
    Brake Fluid DOT3 08823 80002 230
    TSLC 2L 08889 80071 422
    ATF WS 4L (World Standard) 08886 02305 2,864
    Rear Diff. Oil 75W-85 1L 08885 02506 876
