August 26th, 2018 08:57 PM #4644Mga Sirs,
I am not familiar with car engines and I am now scouting for either an Innova or Fortuner, diesel and automatic transmission...
I noticed na Innova has a 2.8 engine, while Fortuner has only 2.4 engine. Does this mean that Innova has more power than a Fortuner? Sorry for a noob question...

The Innova's ECU tuning has less turbo boost hence the lower power and torque figures compared to the Fortuner. Download their brochures and compare the hp and torque numbers.
Hint: innovas fuel consumption is very very low...

4 things why innova has better FC 15.6kml vs 10.8kml
1. 500kg lighter
2. Low rolling resistance tires(narrower)
3. Less turbo boost.. less fuel
4. Better c/d ( aero)

Mazda 3 is incredibly tempting, unfortunately the hybrid is not included in the coding exemption...
