I just bought a V headlight and headlight leveler. Wala ako makita pagsusuutan ng wire ng headlight leveler papunta sa front hood, may nakapag install na ba sa inyo ng ganito? Ang nakikita ko lang daanan yung dinaanan ng cable na pang pop ng hood kaya lang hindi na kasya dun.

My family got our unit nung May 2017 pa. G 4x2 Dsl A/T. SA was generous and gave us free tire lock & cargo tray/tray carpet aside from the regular freebies.

Current ODO reading is at: 1,200Km (Minsan lang gamitin, madalas nasa garage lang.)

Anyways, some questions regarding the fortuner:
How durable is the tire lock (ours came form casa)
Is the rear camera easy to remove/madaling manakaw? (ours came from casa)
What oil should we use for the 1k PMS? (we usually use Synthetic for our other cars pero those are petrol ones. It's our first time to have a diesel)
Is it okay to use water mixed with joy for the windshield fluid or should we buy from auto shops? (for our previous cars, we use water lang but my dad doesn't want to use water sa fortuner haha)

Anyways, walang mahilig sa kotse sa family namin (except for me) so ayun sory sa basic questions (

Mga sir may alam ba kayong dealer na nagbebenta ng fortuner na nagaaccept ng bank PO? Lahat ng napuntahan kong dealership except toyota manila bay meron unit pero for In house financing lang daw. 10k higher kasi ang monthly amortization nila kaya ayaw namin. Toyota abad santos naman meron units kahit bank PO pero gusto nila mag bid kami. Kung sino daw may pinakamaraming accessories,sila lang daw awardan ng unit(napa WoW na alng ako).

Matanong ko na din, how come pwede gawin ng mga dealership sa pinas ang pagrefuse ng pagbenta ng kotse kung hindi sa kanila mag financing? Hindi ba illegal yun? Kakauwi lng nmin kasi galing states at matagal na namin nabenta kotse nmin dito sa pinas. We might stay here for good kaya kailangan na nmin ng sasakyan. Nashock lang kami na ganito na kalakaran sa dealership sa pinas (kahit may pera ka, di ka pa bebentahan). I'm sure sa states marereklamo or may lawsuit sila kapag ginawa nila to.

Try mo Toyota BGC. Initially I reserved at Toyota Alabang but after almost 2 mos wala pa din maibigay kasi cash buyer ako, preferred nila kung inhouse financing. I tried Toyota Bicutan & Makati because I know somebody related to their GM, wala din. Finally, nagbakasakali lang ako with Toyota BGC, ayun after 3 days may naibagay sa akin. Pwede din swerte lang, pero wala kasi silang inhouse financing kaya pareho lang treatment sa lahat ng type of transactions.

Just use distilled water for the windshield washer ... most new vehicles do not require first 1T kms change oil anymore ... check if the Toyota Fortuner still requires 1T kms oil change ...

I mix water and glass cleaner (windex or mr muscle), 50-50 mixture

May mga dealers ba na nagrerelease pa ng units? Reserved a G variant DSL A/T with two dealers 2nd week of December pero still no avaiiable units. Also reserved a Montero GLS as an alternative, and according to the SA, price protected daw so considering getting that instead. Anyone here with the same dilemma na considering to settle for a Montero instead dahil sobrang ipitan ng units sa Toyota? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Mitsubishi doesn't seem to have that long queue for its units sans the white ones compared to Toyota, they have available units every now and then, and an SA mentioned awhile back that 200 units will be coming in this week.

Yes, as long as they still have units in their inventory. But their plants have already stopped production 2nd half of December. So yung mga parating pa lang may just be backlogs from their previous orders. The real challenge really is for the SAs to be totally honest to their customers and admit it na hindi na talaga kaya ang demand, hindi puro paasa lang...
