    what is the difference between disc brakes and drum brakes in terms of performance?

    Disc brakes have more stopping power thus shorter stopping distance. Better heat dissipation. Also Better on flooded conditions than drums.

    Under normal conditions, nonewhatsoever.

    Under extreme conditions (towing, track, mountain roads), better heat dissipation for the discs.

    As for me, i don't care really given my type of use but of course rear discs are nice to stare at.
