Facelifted is the term used in the auto industry to refer to mid-life changes to a car. Normally facelifted models arrive 3 years after a car is launched and it would likely have newer headlights and tailights, newer grills, newer mags, possibly newer engine (not in the Yaris, but for example in Santa Fe new engine and transmission) and revised interiors (either new functions and improvements). As as always a new price! But what makes it a facelift as opposed to a new generation is its still using the same body.
