The LC200 D-4D on display at MIAS last weekend, actually used two car batteries! Didn't expect the LC to use up two batteries for normal operations.

Maybe it had a winter package or a winch.

My dad's LC80 has a dual battery system also but it still runs a 12 volt electrical system.

Do local dealers service land cruisers bought from the grey market?

    Are there special charges?

Where else do grey market unit owners service their landcruisers?

    Redorange,

In here, they're at almost the same price.

just got back from our local dealer and had a chat with my regular agent. there were 2 modified LC200's selling close to 5M. it came with 20" wheels/tires, a touchscreen HU w/ reverse camera, twin headrest-mounted 7" screens and h.i.d.'s (no projectors though). anyway, he told me that a very prominent politician from the south bought 3 of those (this guy has an affection for big suv's. he has a couple of H2's, a QX56, an LX570, an X5 and many other exotics in his stable). what's even more interesting is that a very prominent "pastor" also recently bought 2 units and also plans to buy 1 more. this pastor has a "kingdom" ;) it seems i really got into the wrong kind of business..

Yup, that's practical.....but, one day while driving your camry or fortuner or hi-lux, may tumabi sayong LC200, di ka ba maglalaway na sana yun nalang binili mo?

Just like wildthing, if I have tons of extra money, meaning money that I won't need for my business, I'll definitely buy one for myself to enjoy. ;)
