That's what I like about pinoys. Mas magagaling pa sa mga car designers and engineers. Akalain mo mas alam pa nila na hinde sila visible at kailangan pa gumamit ng hazard sa ulan.

i beg to dis-agree.

years ago, hazard lights in poor visibility driving situations was common.
nowadays, thanks perhaps to tsikot, topgear, and other motorist-education-oriented channels, it is now a much-less-common sight.
so, when i now see one, my thoughts will be, "it must be a sean-archer".

smoke, fog, rain or poor visibility?
the right thing to do is to slow down but keep going, not turn on the hazardous lights.
or, as shadow says, pull over and park at a safe area, and turn your hazard lights on.
motoring journalists agree.

Have you heard of the incident when a cloud of dust covered a portion of sctex North in Tarlac, karambola nangyari, welp, hazard lights may have helped somehow. And yes, I was one of the vehicles na na karambola, zero visibility, bigla may mag rear-end sayo. Chaotic, traumatic. Horrible experience. Google it.

Heavy rain or light rain it doesn't matter. Mali pa rin mag hazard na Hinde ka naman talaga meron car trouble.

Just to answer your question, believing it's an innocent question, yes, ginagawa ko na madalas ito. Now, let me shoot a question, are you questioning my decision to somehow make my self visible inside the cloud of dust, para somehow maiwasan may bumunggo sa akin, meron man bumunggo o wala? Please answer. Mali ba ginawa ko to turn on hazard lights?
