Mas okay walang backup sensors kung 2 backup lights kapalit.
the official requirement is at least 1 reverse light.

    hindi required na 2...

that may be, for elsewhere. but to my understanding, reversing lights are not a requirement in the philippines.

but having two reversing lights is still functionally better than only one.
anyone who has experienced backing up in the dark, will agree.

having only one reversing light, is advantageous only to the manufacturer.

I agree... pero choosing between 1 extra light over the back-up sensors... mas important (for me) yung sensor

well, i use my eyes when backing up.

First time I saw a modern car with a single reversing light on one side that isn't paired with a fog light on the other side.

EcoSport and European Accord with a reversing light on one side and foglight on the other side.

The reverse light actually is not just for the driver, it's a signal light for other motorists as well. Why make it only one. Tsk.

at present people are not anymore averse to buying these size of cars. sa presyo na lang siguro magkakatalo lalo na at mukhang mini sucv/cuv ito

Kei cars are not cheap. Fully equipped sila and I'm not sure if our local market will be enough to entice Japanese manufacturers to build a separate production line for us.

Higher possibility yung small cars ng India.

Lastly, ang hirap kasi sa atin, walang "City Car," kahit yung Eon makikita mo sa mga highway... A lot of people will recommend (kahit dito sa Tsikot) na a used bigger car is a better option.
