No need. The only difference is the spare key doesnt have a remote, which is just a slight inconvenience.

Hi Guys, not really an expert on cars. My Jimny's brake when I am on stop, and i put my feet above the brake not really giving a lot pressure. I notice it goes down on its own (but not fully down, probably 1-2 inches).... is there something wrong or this is normal..

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Did not experience that with my unit. Sounds like a vacuum issue or something.

Hi dreamur, actually just got my unit today. SA said that only the key with remote has a chip and can be used to start the car. The spare key, he claims, is just for opening the doors (?). Though I didnt try to start the car with the spare yet, im just asking if you or anyone here has addtl info on this..

Go ahead and try the spare key. I have been using it each time I 'steal' the jimny with no issue since my wife got the one with the remote. Geez, what kind of training did Suzuki give to the SAs?

I think that is the south american variant. Chances are remote that it will be introduced here as it will jack up the price to the range of the CUVs.

Yup. Spare key absolutely works (was wondering why they would even call it a 'spare' if it didnt). Anyways, thanks dreamur.. now i know to test things out first.. and to keep in mind that not everything the SA says is correct.
