Jimny has a "sense of occasion"... not an appliance... distinct but not obnoxious...

Just hope my back can take it ;-) ... edsa traffic takes me close to 2 hours going home...

I just ordered it from the US. Funny how I could probably get these and a number of other things that I buy from alibaba but I usually end up buying them through US sites.

Alas, I can't still find a dealership for a test drive. I just want to really feel first the response and dynamics of a JLX AT before deciding to really go with Jimny.

I'm actually contemplating bet the Jimny and Juke, kaso the latter I'm reading about the kakupalan ng NISSAN dealership re Juke. It's like dog eat dog system. Also, for the monthly payments, may mura ang Jimny ng around 3k which more flexibility sa gastos.

We have a family car which is a 2013 Fortuner and what I drive right now is an ancient 88 Pajero. So I don't think issue sa akin ang tagtag. What I'm after for is if the Jimny AT is good in overtaking when needed, coz I would like to travel out of town once I have my own bnew car.

Hope to hear personal feedback from AT owners of this mountain goat of a car.

BTW, I'm eyeing the Red color then pagaya ko yun pagka chrome ng grill. Sa Taiwan ganito Ata yun grill nila.

I also like the green that was mentioned by another poster here.

It is fast enough to pass all the trucks, jeepneys, tricycles and tractors when I brought ir to Baguio. The acceleration is not that fast (1.3 engine) though.

Expected naman sa AT talaga ang sluggish acceleration unless naka turbo. Pero as u mentioned kung dika naman bibitinin sa overtaking then that's good enough or u need to make bwelo muna to overtake?
