inquiry/diagnostic

I hear a slight whining or sounds like a bearing when accelerating or decelerating on 4th and 5th gears only. and starts at 2,000 rpm and up.

when on steady throttle (any gears) or from 1st to 3rd gears on any rpm theres no noticeable sound.

the whining sound or vibration increases as the rpm increases. its like its connected to the rpm.

any ideas guys if this Is a big problem? or what should I be checking?

its a jimny jx 2009 manual tranny. at 80,000km

also had a whining problem on my 2005.... couldn't figure it out.... got lost when my aircon belt broke and replaced it with a new one... old belt had missing lines that go into the grooves of aircon pulley.... also check your aircon bearings...alternator bearings.... fan bearings..... hope this helps... keep us informed......

Nagpalit ako ng gulong, from 205/70 to 205/75. Now I get the infamous death wobble at speeds approaching 70kph. Naka-ilang wheel balancing na ako and now my suki tells me I need a steering damper kasi kahit anong balance ko eh walang mangyayari. Wheel bearings are okay btw. San ba okay bumili ng steering damper?

Advise naman kung ano na ang solusyon sa wobbling king nacorrect na. Planning to replace my stock tire to 205/75 or 215/70. Thanks in advamce for the information.

Hi all,
I did some back reading on the possible tire size change which i saw are the ff:
205/70 r15 stock or
205/75r15 or
215/70 r15
Can you help me on which all terrain tire is best as a replacement to make my jimny an off road and an on road ride?
Brand name model and price if you have, also some feedback/review.
To add as informed by sir Tifosi regarding wobbling will that occur if replaced from stock to all terrain or the 215/70 or the 205/75.
Plrase share your insights and experience.

You may dropby at 4xforce of Joey millionado (it's a chicken resto actually, the garage is at the back) in Granada street going to ortigas avenue from N.Domingo it's on the left side before mcdo. He could help you with your jimny.
