Suzuki JIMNY [merged threads]

hi all,

im a newcomer to this forum and wished to learn jimny stuff with other jimny gurus here. this is my ride pending 2" suspension lift.

the tires in the pic is a crag rims 16" with stock height.

im planning to do 2" suspension lift using OME coil spring but still retain the shocks using 2" shock extension. with me are four mickey thompson classic 3 mag wheels that i ordered from amazon. tires im planning to use is the MT tire 15 x 235 x 75.

any anyone in this forum who can comment with 2" suspension lift alone (no body lift) using MT 235 x 75 x 15 if the tires wont scrub the flares?

thinking of replacing my own plugs. anyone knows where can i buy long reach spark plug socket?

^ Sa ace or handyman bro, 16mm yan magnetic.

Meron ako lagi dala non-magnetic deep socket 16mm for sparkplugs at 21mm for lugnuts, nahihirapan minsan extract ung plugs..

Gamitan mo na rin ng torque wrench, 25Nm ang torque ng spark plugs.

^sir, 21mm ba lugnuts? hindi ba 19mm lang?

check ko mamaya sa true value if meron ba sila ng 16mm deep socket. as for torque wrench, matagal ko ng gusto bumili niyan. hindi ko lang alam if anong brand maganda. magkano usually damage sa torque wrench?

so ganito gamit niyo + power handle?

My bad, its 19mm for wheel lug nuts. I got mixed up, my Nav uses 21 mm but same tread as with the zuks m12 x 1.25. My apv uses 19mm too.. As for the Jimny, i dont doll it up yet but i equipped it with decent tools, mag-5k PMS pa lang kasi. hehe.

Get 3/8 drive and swivel extension for the sparkplug job. Medyo tagilid kasi engine, you get better leverage with the swivel. The magnetic type is also very useful, hindi mona kelangan sungitin yung plug to get it..

Torque wrench click-type the el-cheapo ones i think is around P5K, the branded ones i think 10k up.. Get the range 5nM to 100Nm. For the brands, lots in Recto. Snap-on, M10, TopTul, Bluepoint, Koken, Tonichi, Unior, Hans... I'd suggest Toptul, its good for starters..
