Fuel efficient ang Ertiga. Happy kami sa fuel consumption nya.
Based sa avg on meter reading nasa 16.6km/L pero sa actual fulltank method naman since the beginning, nasa 15.6km/L

Please take note that, We are travelling long distances per day na averaging 80kms. There is a big difference on travelling short distances aside from pure city driving.

1st PMS ng ertiga, 1400 php estimate charge, nakasalang na.

    question sa mga GLX users:
at 100 km/h speed may naririnig po ba kyo parang wiggling sound?

noticed nyo ba sa unit nyo yung rpm cut-off ng limiter nya sa rpm at 3000rpm?

    TIA

Can someone help. Am a bit OC but tamad. I read in the other forum about how to detail a car but there's so much information I don't know which one to take.

I just need special care/maintenance for our white Ertiga. I have covered parking at home and office, so hindi sya directly to sunlight. I dust off and wipe everyday. Car wash every other week unless umulan. And regular wax once a month to an autodetailer.

Now, i don't know if those above mentioned alone are enough to maintain its color and paint.

Can I get an advise if there's more i need to do but i hope that more should not be more.

I'm also noob on cars and just like you I want to take care as much as I can of our investment. I already back read all the 300 pages of "Tamang OC" thread here in tsikot, ang here are what i found I should have done:
    1. Right from casa I should have brought my car to an auto-detailer and have it paint protected. (Big bert's, Hillbrough, etc)
    2. Should be doing my own car wash since it's near impossible to find a car wash that make sure they won't give you swirl marks.
    3. Should also auto-detailed my windows to professionals.
But since right I know exactly what is to be done, here is what I will do:
    1. Car wash my car with a no rinse car wash shampoo and have it dried with waffle towels. (ONR & Microtex Elite)
    2. Paint protect my car by cleaning the paint with clay bar, polish the paint to remove swirl marks, apply sealant/glaze, apply wax and maintain it by quick detailer if necessary. (Klasse Twins, Wolfgang, etc)
    3. Same with my windshield and rest of the windows, clean by claybar, apply sealant/wax or rain repellants.(Aquapel, Griot's Garage Glass Sealant, etc)
Then this will be my regimen:
    1. Weekly car wash then Quick detailer afterwards or when needed
    2. Twice/once a month of wax
    3. Quarterly/bi-annually sealant/glaze
But this is just me, I really do advise to read the thread to educate ourselves. You will be surprised on how many people are mislead by wrong info and products.
Again I'm just a noob don't take my word for it.....

Today, I had a badtrip moments with our "gg"..

Yesterday, i bought some starter cleaning kit for our ertiga.. -washmitt, microfiber cloths and syempre, car shampoo. More than a week na kasi di nalinisan. Almost 1am na ko nakatulog kagabi coz of OT work. Around 8am nagising ako konti dahil may roving guards at may ina announce. Sumilip ako sa garahe , and saw our kasambahay wiping our ertiga with basahan at pinaglabhan nya..

Mula sa bintana namin, napasigaw ako na wag nya linisan. I rushed down to check the car. Parang naglinis lang sya ng kitchen sink. Yung panels nya parang yung pinunasan na lamesa sa mga foodcourt ng malls.. Dali dali kong kinuha yung binili kong gamit at napa carwash ako ng di oras.. Hayyy, naku... inday....
