Before new APV Arena launched, they use older Honda Fit/Jazz's wiper arm.
Another opt: Toyota Innova's wiper arm.
Additional info for tsikot admin/mods:
I live in Jkt, Indonesia, and using internet in one of the biggest ISP, with total bandwidth reaching 1 Gbps+ downstream. So I don't think there's bottleneck prob in here. I can browse & download to anywhere with zippy reaction time (US, Europe, Australia, Asia including Japan etc, no prob at all)
Tried to login without success (the tsikot page didn't even bother to come up!!!) more than 10x+ in months, except in this specific time today * 5AM [Bangkok, Jakarta time]

November 4th, 2008 01:37 PM #84Hi ranma, just wanna ask a few questions..it keeps on bothering me..
since the ground clearance for an apv is 170mm, is there any method of making it more higher? i lowered my car, not so low but i scrapped my oil pan n it was dented now, just afraid if my oil pan will leak... (malaysian road sucks with big humps!)
my fren suggested that i can put an extra plate at the engine mount to bring the whole engine a bit higher (approximately 1.5"-2") because apv's engine mount is square, not like an ordinary car engine mount (rounded)
other suggestion is to replace the oil sump with a dry sump, and place it a bit higher but then i still need the oil pan right? or can i remove it? if not then what's the purpose of replacing the oil sump, right? and i dont think that i can easily find a specific aftermarket dry sump for an apv, right?...ok nuff questions..
So,What's ur opinion on this 2 method, is it dangerous to implement or any other advisable method that i can do besides this?
your opinion much2 appreciated
thanks in advance

The same as most streets in Jakarta, not too good in term quality, and sometimes someone just built a road humps or something that prevents you to drive fast on that road. No sanctions given, although they built it 4 meters apart, what a messy & cumbersome road management... Some are built too high that will scrape every sedan cars, imagine that...
We call them 'polisi tidur' (= sleeping policeman). This is ofcourse widely spread in a living/home block area streets.
Adding extra plate (around 3 to 4mm thickness), will help protects the oil sump tank. Dry sump is a better idea. It adds extra horsepower from the engine (since not too much oil mass will interfere with crankset), but ofcourse it needs to be custom built. You'll need to get another oil pump too for this system. This is what I will call: racing car way !
The simplest choice & cheapest is ofcourse to simply add a protection plate.
The best but cumbersome & complicated option would be adding a dry sump system.
I prefer adding plate for the time being.
This is because G15A engine is not widely used in "Suzuki Sport" racing camps, for now M15A is. You'll get many ready made racing parts for this engine model from suzuki and other 3rd party makers.
Check in www dot suzukisport dot com , usually there's many racing parts for suzuki cars.

November 13th, 2008 10:27 AM #86Thanks bro for the explanation...
since now there's a new apv-arena, is it possible for me to order the 2nd row seat n rear door panel from indonesia?. most of the suzuki dealers in malaysia are too lazy to do all kinda import stuff from other country..., i drove an Every DA32w b4, some goes with that...
if u have any contact regarding this matter, please let me now..
Terima kasih ya!

November 22nd, 2008 10:08 PM #88i sent it for customization (adjustable ride height). still using the same front suspension, but the mechanic cut off the spring seat n replace it with a thread (where u can put the adjuster n locknut) n an adjustment on the inner valve n piston to get the ride comfort. i used coil that can suits the thread diameter n nicely seated on the adjuster. usually when u send ur car to an absorber specialist, the have a lot of coil/springs that can fit the adjustable suspension.
for the rear, i used toyota avanza heavy duty shock n put a block (the height of the block depends on how low u want ur car to be) between the leaf spring n the rear axle.
but IMHO, the avanza's heavy duty is still soft for an apv, it can easily touch the bump stopper underneath. n for that, u also need to cut the bump stop as much as u can (depends on ur ride height.)

that was simple!
my source from apv indonesia almost used the same idea you did but what he did was he got honda ferio springs for the front, used the apv rear leaf springs for the rear and of course cut a bit of the chassis stopper. he also used adjustable type for the rear leaf.
