kung hindi ba magbabago. baka biglang magmalfunction, hindi na maging accurate, or something like that ... kasi nga pang 4-6-8-cylinder yung tach, and our Alto is a 3-cylinder.

ang tingin ko lang na hindi accurate yung "shift light" ng tach ko kasi hindi umiilaw kahit na nasa max rpm na. dito pumapasok ang settings ng 4-6-8, pero yung palo ng needle accurate.

Hi. "Mura" is relative. There are Taiwan-made in most motorshops along Evangelista in Makati...around Php1800 to 2000 including installation plus the actuator. The good quality brand with lifetime free service warranty is the US-made Autopage which I installed in my son's Alto DeLuxe. The sad part is that the DeLuxe only has 2 door switches at its 2 front doors...the 2 other rear doors and its hatchback have no such switches to tap the alarm. The effect is that it that the alarm won't sound off if these entries are forcibly opened. The good thing with the Autopage is that it has an engine disable feature...meaning the chances of our whole car being driven off is quite slim. The Autopage sensor is also very sensitive of pressures on the side mirrors and the wheels. The price is Php3500 including installation at ODrive along Kamagong, Makati. I suggest of course the Autopage. However, you can install a Taiwan-made alarm system coupled with a steering wheel lock if you don't have the money yet...and be sure you have a "face-off" head unit for car stereo system. Regarding the mags...I inquired from Suzuki Makati and I was informed that its OEM mag set costs a f.....g Php45,000 (size 13", 4" wide, Japan-made alloy). Yes, I know...the quality... but the price tag is relatively "mahal" across economic strata. Anyway, the full wheel cap of the Alto DeLuxe is neat and clean. Don't ever dare to buy an aftermarket mags that are outside the Alto's specs, they'll void your warranty.

    Enjoy the ride.

better retain stock form yun nga lang IMO masyadong manipis ang ganitong goma, better get 165/65/r13 tires kaso sasayad sa fender sa likod kapag puno.

maraming goma na mabibili with these kind of specs.

Hello there. Personally, I think those brilliant Japanese Suzuki engineers so designed our Alto as is (although ours are Indian made by Maruti) with those kind of specs. The tyres fitted to it give the Alto the agility to move around easily. It's also one of the reasons on top of its small 800cc engine why it can cruise and run off in a respectable km/hour speed with low gas consumption. Changing the tyres with sizes not specified by the manufacturer could result to a lot of unnecessary problems...hard steering -which could eventually affect your rack and pinion and even tire wear, wrong ground-wheel-body clearances, inaccurate km reading, etc. etc. etc. Yes, I agree that a wider tyre will give our Alto a "racing" look...but guys our Alto is not meant to race plus the fact that a wider tyres will create extra weight and a drag for its minute engine to pull. Worried about the braking distance???...the Alto's braking system and halting power is just right for its small body. Hindi naman baduy ang mags (I mean tire rims concealed with a wheel cap) ng Alto...a lady wearing shoes not matching her dress is more "baduy"...but that's my personal opinion. Our Alto is like a lady that is trim and proper. That's why I love her...(like a mistress) next to my Honda City (but that's a different story)...hehehe! Someday, if we'll take care of our Alto, it will be like the VW Beetle, the more stock it is...the more sought after it becomes...that's my fearless forecast for this future icon.
