GEN I Suzuki Vitara 88-up [merged]

Sirs,

Tulong ulit sa problem ko sa vitara... Nag ooverheat na 95JLX Vitara ko , pag pinaandar ko sya sa garahe at di ko kinabit ang radiador cap after mag init ng tubig ... unti unti umaagas ang tubig palabas sa bibig ng radiator. At kung itakbo ko naman after 15minutes or 20mins nangangamoy na ang oil nya at sobrang init na ng radiator .. Di ko sya maitakbo ng malayuan at sigurado mag ooverheat na sya. Ano kaya ang sira nito? Overhaul na kaya?

I'm not very knowledgeable po sa engine pero hindi po ba talagang mag o-overheat kapag hindi naka kabit ang radiator cap? Meron po kasi akong friend na na fix lang yung overheating issue niya nung gumamit na ng bagong rad. cap. Apparently, loose na yung gasket nung luma and kailangan daw maka reach to a certain pressure sa loob ng radiator para hindi mag overheat.

Masters pa correct na lang po if I'm wrong.

Kenn, yung Grounding Kit DIY mo na lang mahal talga yung sa mga ready made na shops you can do it at half the price tapos nag enjoy ka pa. like i did hehhe. i posted what i did for the grounding kit here

yes many people forget to check the simplest and first part they see in a cooling system... the radiator cap. a bad seal will let water flow out to the overflow tank and eventually keep on losing water till the engine over heats.

but sa case ni wally.

pwedeng cap, clogged radiator, bad water pump, a leak somewhere in the cooling system.

yung unti unting umaagas yung tubig kasi may pressure yung water pump to circulate the water.

yung nangangamoy sunog na langis kasi nag iinit na yung block so naluluto na yung oil.

palitan mo muna rad cap Wally

with a cold engine check your oil yung milky ang kulay may tubig yan meaning may sira na gasket. makikita mo din sa radiator yan, pag bukas mo ng cap tingnan mo kung may parang nag rainbow sa surface ng tubig sa bibig ng radiator. kung di mo makita, leave the cap off, have someone crank the engine pag bumulwak ang tubig, gasket na talga.

best have it checked by your trusted mechanic.

sige sir. try ko muna kung kaya ko. hindi pa kasi ako talaga maalam sa engine. hehehe. trying to learn though.

tingin mo ok na yung HKS na grounding kit sa Blade * 1K petot? assume na lang natin na fake nga siya. pwede na ba sa price?

tantyahin mo yung timbang Kenn, pag medyo mabigat, meaning makapal ang wires not the insulation. meron ako dati nakita sa blade din ang laki ng packaging pag hawak ko ang gaan.

Marvinix... sa vitara ko na matic. nung nakabit ko na grounding kit napansin ko

pumino takbo ng makina
mas may hatak
since maganda na ang hatak, di ko na kelangan pwersahin makina so mas matipid na sa gas
gumanda din shifting ng tranny

mas maura apag DIY kasi mas mura yung wire 95 per meter lang sa deeco, dun ka na din bumili ng terminals and shrink wrap.

depends on what you need boss. and also kung ok yung unit na nakita nyo.

the vitara is not a big car and not very comfy pag dating sa bako bako nating kalsada. but para sa akin i'm very satisfied with my vitara.

it's not as fast as a kia pride, pero nung ondoy dun mo makikita kung gano ka sulit hehehhe

Actually Im also a victim of ondoy kaya todo research ako sa mga 2nd hand cars ngayon. With the price, medyo tempting.

What I need to know is kung matibay po ba and kung bang for the buck sa presyo? Regarding the size, im ok with this. Since 80% percent of the time, ako lang sasakay and 20 percent kasama si GF. Im into photography, so medyo require sken ang long driving minsan like pagudpud or bicol, yakang yaka ba ito ng vitara?

Mga sir pa OT muna, worth it ba yung 2 inch body lift? Sa mga nagpa body lift satisfied ba kayo? diba bitin or kita na ba yung difference? I'm also using 235"s. Thanks in advance.

*whitesmith- Sulit bro yung vitara basta maintain mo lang lage, konti sira pagawa agad. Durable, kayang kaya mga long trips, on and off road. Maganda pa pormahan. make sure check mo maigi bago bumili. Good luck!
