[QUOTE=ynupq;2712691]Not an expert, pero yearly ang upgrade ng oto. Around Sept 2015 ang announcement ng 2016 model, so expect the same month this year ang announcement ng newer model ng swift. Though it appears every 3-4 years lang ang MAJOR upgrade. Like 2016 model, very MINOR lang ang upgrade. 2016 model comes with 8" LCD, GPS Navigation ready, new RIMS, silver accent sa fog lights, and 60:40 split sa rear seats. Nawala na rin ang phone and media controls sa steering wheel na meron sa 2015 model. HTH![/QUOTE

Major upgrade na sa september?kasi kung oo aantayin ko na.tutal sa june ako kukuha ilan buwan nalang aantayin ko

Parang smartphone lang yan paps e. If you google the 2017 swift, you may see some major cosmetic changes, which MAY or MAY NOT true (maaring fan made lang). Meron ding lumalabas na bagong DualJet engine na tinitest BUT i highly doubt na makakarating ng pinas yun. It's your decision if makapaghintay ka o hindi, just like buying a smartphone.

Regarding sa fuel consumption, if you backread this thread, halos lahat naglalaro ng 9-11 km/l ang mga AT, higher for MT.

Gusto ko kasi change setting ng DoorLocking at Flashes ng turn signal. Salamat.
Hi guys.. New here. Up ko lang itong inquiry. Nagtry din kasi ko sundin yung nasa manual pero hindi ko maaccess ung settings mode. [emoji36] Anyone knows how?

Also paaccept narin sana sa swift 1.2 group sa facebook. Saka kanino magsend ng pictures? TIA!

Hi, Swift 1.2 owners! We will be purchasing our first car this year and I am choosing between Swift 1.2 and Toyota Yaris. I am seriously considering Suzuki Swift because it is enough for my family's needs and, of course, it costs less, aside from the fact that I really like its looks. My only concern with it is durability and after sales parts & services. As for Toyota, well it is Toyota. Just need your two cents. TIA.

I have owned 5 suzuki's since 1983. 3 are still with me. they are very reliable, comparable to toyota. If you do the basic preventive maintenance, i don't think it will give you problems for the next 5 years.

Get the Suzuki Swift. Suzuki is a good brand and they are one of the top manufacturers in their home market in Japan.

    i do not own one.
but i have ridden in my office colleague's.
my complaint is, the rear passenger space is small, and the rear door makes for tight entry and exit. but smaller kids should have no such problems.
the yaris has better rear space.

Durability, no problem. The usual problems of the earlier gen Swift seems to have been resolved already, and don't seem to be an issue with the 1.2.

Aftersales is fine as well, just get some feedback here on which casas give the best service (and the best discounts!) Of course, unlike Hondas and Toyotas, surplus parts are pretty hard to come by--but if you're sticking to your 3-year warranty, you're required to buy OEM anyway.

However much I love my Swift though, I can't deny that the backseat is pretty tight. Smaller boot than other hatchbacks too. Best bet would be to check it out at the showroom with your family to see how you all fit

    Hi There.

I'm torn between getting the Older Swift 1.4 or the new Swift 1.2. I'm also considering other cars from Mazda but that's another story. I really like the Stock 1.4 Mags as well as the steering wheel audio controls and the compartment on the top of the dashboard. I don't really mind that it's not touchscreen or that it isn't navi ready as I do most of my navigation via google maps/waze anyways. I also like the front fascia of the 1.4 vs the 1.2. But of course the newer 1.2 wouldn't hurt with all the added features and improved fuel economy.

What's your opinion on the issues that plagued the earlier models before the 1.2? Also I'm into this thinking that the 1.4 is CBU Japan and the 1.2 is assembled in India. Does this really matter?
