FC in favor of the Mirage CVT. No comments on PMS since I've only had my 1000 km PMS. I'll have a concrete opinion after I've done my 5K and 10K km PMS. I have a 2015 Swift 1.2 AT btw.
But for "overall experience", I'd definitely take the Swift. Sounds biased but there's no contest in terms of driving pleasure. The Mirage is an econo car through and through and it shows in the way it drives, particularly on the CVT-equipped variants. The Swift on AT is very exciting to drive. Excellent steering response and feedback and the acceleration is exciting because there's a lot of torque in the low range. Prod the pedal even just a little and it will GO. It's pretty much like a go-kart. Sharp handling and engaging to drive. In short, it's fun. Btw, the Swift is also more quiet and has a better ride than the Mirage. It's noticeably more refined. Test drive both so you know what I mean. Most would actually put the Swift in the same class as the Jazz and Yaris, but given the pricing, interior space and engine displacement the Swift is often compared to the Mirage and Brio.
The Mirage on the other hand has a more spacious 2nd row because the seats are thinner which mean more legroom, and it has a fancy head unit with navigation on the GLS variant, and it's one of the best in its class in terms of AT fuel economy. But its 3 cylinder 1.2 engine, CVT transmission and poo-poo handling makes driving boring in comparison. This is exactly why the Mirage is one of the most disliked cars by auto journalists from developed countries. Even Consumer Reviews, which is known to be very lenient in their reviews, couldn't help but say they hated it.
Basically, if you simply want more passenger space, better FC and a high-tech head unit, get the Mirage GLS CVT since those discounts look yummy.
P.S. Shameless plug of my Swift which I just upgraded to 17" rims.
