That was 15-16 years ago. They have gotten a lot better since.

They're hardly my first choice but it's good that we have options.

I replaced my 8 y/o OEM Yokohamas with Arivo. And it was a good thing on my part, because roughly a year later, I sold that car.

You get what you pay for.

They won't last as long as more expensive brands under extreme use or abuse, but for everyday casual driving and regular maintenance, they'll be fine.

drive more carefully when it rains. period. regardless of tyre brand.
    heh heh.

    i have observed,
in slex, when it rains, some vehicles do not seem to slow down even a bit...
    parang nagmamadaling maka-uwi...

May time nga na during our long trip when cruising at unfamiliar roads, I tried to overtake the car in front of me dahil nababagalan ako.

Yun pala, dahil the road ahead is covered with dried muds nay may pointy stones sticking on the road.

The road is a valley, dahil gustong umovertake, napabilis arangkadan, yun pala may malaking bumps in a form of hard soil.

Parang malaki at wide na bumps but its a hard soil, umapaw ata yung ilog sa part na yun

Umuntog tuloy kami, naantala yung tulog ng nakasakay sa akin.

I initially thought butas yung tire sa lakas ng impact.

But I was surprised, the tires are still intact, wala pang masyadong bruises.

If yung old tire ko pa yun, sumabog na cgro yun.

When it's raining ...it adds 50% more hp to some cars ...

I'd probably avoid them for commercial hauling/heavy duty use as they still had complaints upto 2023 about belt/thread separation when fitted to a trailer/RV - Similar to the risks raised in the complaint made by their original US importer.

What an odd brand name for a filipino made product.

Parang clickbait, japanese yung brand name so sure japan product.
