    Here are some choices ....

    Toyota LC80

    > Old but dependable. The aircon is great too ... and not to mention, it's capability to go fast.

    2006 Toyota Hilux G

    > Great vehicle for offroading. Backseat is quite harsh but tolerable. However, you could opt for a brand new one ... but instead of it being a G, it's an E.

A Brand New Mitsubishi Strada GLX

    > Get the GL if you want a cheaper one. But no worries, even it's the base model it still carries power amenities such as keyless entry, power windows etc..

    2010 Isuzu Crosswind XTi

    > If you want a better one then opt for the second hand sportivo instead or XUV if budget doesn't permit.

There is a lot more that you can consider ... such as the Ford Escape.

    A Second hand Ford everest
    A Brand New nissan bravado

    etc. etc.

I think the TS is also worried about the durability of suspension parts, and not just ride comfort.

If so, a truck-based vehicle (RWD, solid axle, leaf springs) would be the better choice.

we had a CRV that we used to take to remote places in batangas. The suspension developed squeaks and knocking sounds much, much earlier than the pickup.

technically, kasama rin dyan yung mga pickup-based SUVs like the everest, monterosport, and fortuner.

and actually yan rin ang setup ng Revo, Crosswind, Adventure, pati Innova!
