Tumutunog ang brake

Guys will you help me out again on this... Ano kaya ang problema nitong ride ko...tumutonog minsan pag nag apply ako ng brake na parang ganito... enggggggggggggggggg.... Pero malakas pa naman ang kapit ng brake....

for the front, possibilities are warped rotors, worn-out brake pads

for the rear, worn-out break shoe, dirty drum brakes.

have it checked especially the front, kasi kung warped na rotors mo, useless ang palit mo ng brake pads, madali mauubos yan.

Kapain mo yung rotors mo, kung meron kang makapa na guhit na magaspang at malalim na then its time to have it refaced. Of course, once nagpa reface ka ng rotor, palit ka ng bagong brake pad.

hi guys, pasingit na ren. i have the same prob on my ae101. maingay yung harap, so i changed brake pads (the one that sells for 400 pisotas lang--peke), nawala ingay, after a few days bumalik ulet. so the mechanic suggested a reface dahil meorn na nga umbok yung rotors, had it refaced, nawala noise, but after a few days maingay na naman. suggest naman ng mechanic that i change the brake pads to my old one (originals) dahil medyo makapal pa daw. it might be that the fake brake pads are to hard. im pretty confused on what to do. malakas pa naman kapit ng brakes, but the noise is freakin annoying. i appreciate ur suggestions guys. thanks

pero bro, its using new brake pads, yun nga lang peke. do u think its wise that i replace it wid my old original one? makapal pa kasi e.

use OEM pads. the peke ones squicks :wink:

Pasensya na bro bago pa kasi ako dito eh....ano ba ibig sabihin ng OEM, HU at ano ba tung rotors???? :D

kapag fake yung brake pads, malakas pa din kapit, pero iingay pa din after few days..kapag orig ,sobra mahal, but ndi iingay brakes mo kahit ano gawain...
dun sa tumutunog na brake, very possible na galing sya sa likod, drum brakes, malamang nabasa then tinaas yung handbrakes, and left it overnight, the next day , tutunog talaga yan...mas audible ang tunog pag a/t ang car...
