Maybe its true. Kapag sira ang tie rod they cannot get it done the right way to align your car properly dahil doon ang setting ng toe. Maybe your mechanic adjusted your tie rod w/o inspecting on it. At yong mga bushing kapag pudpod na kailangan papalitan mo narin dahil puro alog na yan. Transmission axle????? eeeeemmmh I dont know about this, never heard a tranny axle before, strike that one. Remember when change, change it in pair.

good day po mga guru's
question kolang po...regarding sa tok na tunog, nakaka experience din ako nito..
pero weird siya, pang tuwing may ulan tsaka tumutunog...
i just recently replace (2) ball joints, (2) tie rod, (2) front shocks and spring, (2) rubber boots (2) brake pads and (2) mounting but pag may konting lubak or paangat yung daan, pag nadaan ko, yung front right side ay may tok, isang beses lang..then pag mabilis takbo ko then pag preno ko may tok ulit sa front right side..
hinde kona pinalitan yung (2) rack end kasi 2006 ko pinapalit sa Toyota mismo..
ano kaya mga possible na problema?
i did try to TS myself and i found out that yung (1 out of 2) rubber bushing sa right side ng rock and pinion ay medyo maluwag...pinahigpit ko pero ganun padin..
ano kaya problema nun...
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Corolla AE92 ride ko pala...

May 4th, 2008 01:55 PM #25mahirap talaga maghanap ng tok tok sound problems sa sasakyan. dami puedeng panggalingan niyan. ang first step is to inspect every nuts and bolts
related to the suspension, front and rear. Make sure all bolts are properly tightened. Camber/Caster adjustments bolts are tight. Stabilizer bar bushings are not worn out. Stabilizer links have no side/end play. Inspect shock mounting for cracks. Look for signs of uneccesary parts or linkage movement. This is for the trained and experienced eye to detect. DIY maybe difficult unless you have a good mechanical aptitude.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
