October 19th, 2006 09:00 AM #4Silverzz,
my suggestion is u look for tires that comes from or made from countries with the same tropical country like ours. suggestion ko lang yan ha and my own opinion. i believe kase na mas ugma yung quality ng rubber for usage sa condition ng climate natin.

What's that got to do with the rubber quality? Tires made for cold weather have different composition of materials and would not be sold in the Philippines anyways since they would be classified as snow tires. The closes you would probably find is an all-season tire rated m+s, the other available tires would be classified as 3 season tires. Most tires including the high speed rated tires now are 3 season tires anyways for use in warm weather summer months with dry and wet traction.

RE: 195-60-15? Yoko C-Drives or Bridgestone Turanza GR80s are nice. Both grippy and quiet, and the C-Drives are supposed to have good wet-weather holding.

They're okay... supposedly "bukol" easily, but if they're at a 60 aspect, there should be no problem.
