i do the rotation myself every 10k, i'm planning to make it every 5k (kung sipagin). ganda kasi ng result when you rotate, i always end up buying 1 set of tires in a span of 4-5 yrs. ang sarap pa magpa-align pag 4 new tires, alang kabig talaga

better if you can include the spare tire in the rotation. If not, then rotate the 4 tires. But when you replace the worn out tires, you must use the spare tire among the 4 because the rubber in the tire only has a recommended life span of 5 years. Beyond that, tires, especially the sidewall, has tendency to become brittle or less flexible.

to those without manuals, here is the schematic diagram i copied from a chevy colorado manual:

    tire rotation without using spare

    1 2

    O O
    3 4

    1 goes to 4 , 4 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1

    tire rotation including spare tire

    1 2

    3 4

    O
    Spare

this is a little bit complicated...

    Spare to 4, 4 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1, 1 becomes the spare
