Size: It depends on the size of your car (bantam weight, mid-size sedan, mini-suv, van etc.) Merong, 195/55 16 (used in Lynx RS), 205/45, 50 or 55, 215/45, 50, 55, 225/45, 50, 55.. madame bro!
Price: I think, your budget for 3k/tire won't fit if your looking for a branded one like Yokohama, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Falken, Dunlop.. underrated tires like Federal, Nankang, Nexen, etc. will do the trick siguro.
Performance: Why?For what purpose? Racing? Street? Their almost have the same claims (i.e. better grip, wet traction) but differs on compounds of the tires,. and every Tsikoteers experience (on usage) or wait for their testimonials!
Shop: Again, where's your area? If your looking for a cheaper w/ plenty of sizes to find, try this places: Blumentrit (Manila, QC) Banawe, Evangelista (Pasay, Makati), Along Felix Ave. (formerly Imelda Ave.), Cainta (dame dyan,.. don't know if you can find the size your looking for,..mahirap yung size na hinahanap mo most especially pang 16's!
TSIKOTEER PEEPS, NEED HELP ON ADDITIONAL INPUTS, GUIDELINES, SUGGESTIONS REGARDING THIS MATTER, TY!
Gud luck bradah!

Shop: Blumentritt is accessible (my dilemma is that since i might get the underrated brands because of the budget, baka lumang stocks makuha ko and problema yun. na-otso kasi yung 2 rear kaya magpapalit ako.)
inputs will be very much appreciated

Bridgestone potenza G3 user.
225/45 r17
6200 per tire
feedback: quiet ride. para lang ako naka 14's.
grip: the best esp in wet roads.
braking: so-so lang.
treadwear: ok din. been using it for 8 months na. mukhang bago pa rin. average ko is 20-40 Km per day.
Tread design: plain.
verdict: good all-around tire
tires tried:
Federal (not sure with the model)
215/45 17
4200 each
feedback: hell tire
sobrang ingay kala mo tangke dala mo.
na-ooblong.
treadlife: used it for 8 months with same mileage per day. slicks na agad.
grip: wag nyo na lang itanong.
verdict:
goodyear nct5
verdict: maingay din
yokohama s-306
tahimik and good lang for grip.
mejo pangit ang wet handling.
treadwear: better ng konti sa federal.
verdict: bang for the buck tire.
hope this would help.

My ride: Civic VTi 1999 all-stock , including springs walang putol.
Tires: Dunlop FM901 195/50 16
What i think about my rubbers: Maingay mga bro at moderate to high speed (40kph-100kph), pag lagpas na 100kph okay na. okay lang kapag holy week lagi. hehehe.
Travel direction: Shaw blvd-Proj 6 (vice versa, parang PUJ)
tumungin ako kanina sa West Ave merong Potenza G3, price is 3.8k per tire (205/50 16 yata). yung yokohama with similar size is 3750. Parang Rally Master yung name ng store. I had the upper suspension and rack ends replaced sa shop, labor lang coz i bought replacement parts myself. dagdag na rin ang pag-ayos na na-bigkong na mags. hehehe. k naman, tahimik na harap na suspension and wala ng kabig. tipid compared to the same job sa servitek.
hay naku, balik 15 inches na lang siguro ako in the future para less tagtag at less stress sa suspension, and medyo mura ng tires.
