The Ford Ranger steering wheel vibrates at around 80kph. I suspect a tire balancing job is needed, what is now the usual asking rate by reputable shops for tire balancing?

On second thought, could there be other causes for steering wheel vibrations at speed other than unbalanced tires?

November 14th, 2005 10:07 PM #4worn out suspension parts. balljoints/rackend/etc. better have it diagnosed at reputable shops or casa in your case if it is fairly new.

check the weights first. kung napansin mo kulang this could be the cause. however, there is more to it. baka may maluwag sa mga tie-rod ends mo or baka bumigay yung mga belts ng gulong mo. happened to me one time. yung contact patch animo may malignant tumor.
