Depends also on the use of the vehicle. If hindi ka madalas mabaha or dumaan through bad roads, the lifespan should be longer. Nevertheless, its a good practice indeed to service it regularly rather than just waiting for your CV joints or bearings to make noise and give way.

wheel bearing grease will melt and might damage the rubber boots for the brake caliper guide pins..
