STILL SPONGY!!! what seems to be the problem? should i change my brake master kit? or could it just be my brake lines? thanks in advance...
since the reservoir was empty, there is a great possibility that you have a leak somewhere in the system,

find a competitive shop to get it diagnosed properly to immediately put the car back to safe side.

I cannot speak for the other carmakers and their cars, but Honda I am certain of because it explicitly mentions the diagonal brake circuits in their owner's manuals.

In contrast, we had Toyotas for a very long time but I don't remember them mentioning the arrangement of their braking circuits in the owner's manuals.
