Most likely you still have air in your brake system. Theoretically, air can be compressed that is why you still can floor your pedal. You need to bleed and make sure all four sides of your wheels (or should I say, four brake sides) are checked. Be careful also that proper fluid level is maintained while bleeding or purging, typical draining would cause air to go inside your system (which will make your bleeding useless).
Thanks

December 17th, 2010 08:21 AM #6your front brakes are probably stuck na. have them inspected before doing anything.

Persistent air in the system even after bleeding all four calipers and cylinders may indicate that air is still inside the master cylinder and have to be bled further. If not, the master should be replaced.
This is remote but possible, it had happened in the shop. If the front calipers are interchangeable, meaning that the left can be inadvertently installed to the other side and vice versa with no apparent trouble, the system can not be bled properly no matter what because the bleeder screw is positioned at the top of the caliper instead of at the bottom where it should be if they where installed properly.

???? parang may mali yata sir, di ba dapat talaga nasa higher side ng caliper housing ang bleeder screw? go figure

Typo.. hehe nabaligtad lang sa utak. pero its the thought that counts! hehe I think it was from a Nissan Pick-up ata from my previous shop. The mechanic washed both calipers, got mixed up and yun na, no more air when bleeding but the brakes are weak and the pedal is low. Yun pala, the remaining air inside was at the top of the caliper and the screw was at the bottom. Di nga naman lalabas ang hangin!
Thanks for the correction sir!
see my pahabol statement above. i mean, i can go on vacation anytime. but my spouse has her...
