Guys may alam ba kayong shop na nag-pareface ng disc brake, kasi everytime na tinatapakan ang brake palagi na lang may ingay na parang kumakatok, kung ipapagawa ko naman sa rapide' baka mahal na naman ang charge nila sa akin, any suggestion would be highly appreciated thanks.

pwede po sa mga gas stations. tatanggalin nila rotors mo tapos ipapadala nila sa machine shop para i pareface. average price: 300 per rotor.
may kumakatok kamo pag preno? baka hindi related sa rotor yan. kasi ang symptoms ng warped rotor ay "nanginginig" pag pumepreno. pero i pacheck mo pa rin.

AER does rotor refacing, as do most known machine shops. Expect to pay about P1k+ a pair.

some goodyear servitek service stations have a dedicated lathe machine for brake rotors. mas ok ito kasi sabay ang pag reface sa both sides ng rotor. unlike sa mga machine shops na one side at a time lang. forgot how much was the cost nung nagpa reface ako.

sorry kung offtopic. . . ung liteace namin pinalitan ang 2 rotor discs + 2 brake pads, around 18 thousand ung bill, sa toyota pasong tamo... first replacement ng mga ito at 86,000km . pwede na imo kaysa reface...

kung makapal pa naman ang rotors at hindi pa nag-warp, ok lang pa-reface. kesa gumastos ng 18K!

out of specs na daw e di na daw advisable magreface. di kaya ako naloko? thanx sa advice. next time consider ko magpareface...

December 18th, 2004 10:11 PM #8does your prake pedal pulsate whenever you hit the brakes? or your steering wheel wiggles whenever you apply the brakes? If your answer is yes then the front brake discs need replacement already. Refacing is only applicable if it is still within the specified thickness (usually stamped somewhere in the disc.) Average price is 300 per disc. YOu might as well have the wheel bearings checked.
