    - 1st set up w/o lifter: rear 2 fingers gap and front Left 4 fingers gap; front Right 5 fingers gap.

    - 2nd set up w/ 2" lifter: rear 4 fingers gap and front Left 4 fingers gap; front Right 5 fingers gap.

    QUESTIONS:
    1. Bakit kaya mas mababa ang drop ng rear kahit bago lahat shocks at coil springs?
    2. Mali kaya yong pag install nila ng coil springs? Yong rear dapat sa front at yong front nailagay sa rear?
    4. Bakit di pantay ang gaps ng front left and right?
    11. Okay lang ba na mag putol na lang ako ng front springs para maging 2 fingers ang drop instead na 4 fingers left and 5 fingers right?

Andami mo palang threads... sana i-merge... answered your other thread...

If the car is uneven, left-to-right, that's a possible sign of chassis damage from a previous accident.

If the rear is too low, you may have gotten springs for the Nissan Sentra sedan instead of the California wagon... the Sentra has a lighter rear end, and the spring rates may be too low.

Don't ever cut your springs. It may be workable as a temporary solution, but it provides for unsafe handling, allows the shocks to bottom out, and will eventuall destroy your suspension.

If you have the right springs (California-specific, not California/Sentra) I'd suggest adding a small amount of lifter in the rear and seeing if you can beat out the damage in the front mount that's out of line. If you don't have the right springs, see if you can enact an exchange at the shop, first.

sir niky, am sorry for double posting...honestly i first posted at nissan car thread/forums but i noticed no one is answering so I thought i made a wrong post. that's when i saw this section about suspension...i again posted my questions.

anyway, am thankful for your response.

-i am using a used 2" rubber lifters at my rear shocks.
-i'll ask the previous owner if the California has been in an accident.
-when i canvassed i told the shops that i am looking for a nissan sentra california/ b12 springs. they seem to be unfamiliar with california. or they have more accustomed to b12 boxtypes.
-i am not really into cutting my springs. i am more comfortable in higher ride height.
-i think the shop does not have california specific springs. because they would always tell me "springs for boxtype b12".
-but the shop suggested to put 1" rubber lifters at the top and 1" rubber lifters at the bottom of the springs. she told me that it is safer to use instead of a 2" rubber lifters at the bottom because the springs may jump.

lastly, after my visual inspection...i have a new hunch...that the shop that installed my brand new KYB Premium shocks and HTK coil springs had this terribel mistake...

they installed mixed coils springs (at front) front and rear springs. and (at rear) they also mixed up the coils; front and rear springs installed in the same axle.

i am a noob, its just my hunch after visually inspecting the spring over and over again...but how can i verify this wrong installation?

your expert advise will be much appreciated.

    god bless!

Compare the coil width and the count of coils... though I doubt they'd mix them up that badly, unless they're all the same diameter (not a common thing with car springs... fronts are often always larger for front-engined cars).

htk springs... made that mistake before... htk springs are so stiff and so hard... halos walang bounce ang sasakyan dito.

Problem with ride height and ride comfort still persists
