June 22nd, 2005 07:22 PM #1Hi to all tsikot members, tanong ko lang po kung how much pa repair ng power steering leak, Mine is a Toyota Gli '98 model medyo nag canvass na rin po ako sa talyer dito sa may P.Ocampo cor. dela rosa. mga 7K daw po repair kit (orig. toyota parts) kung OEM mga 5K including labor for both. Standard po ba yung ganitong pricing?

You should also check P/S hose status, minsan dun nagsisimula ang leaks bago madamay ng P/S pump. Nung nagpalit kami dati umabot ng 8k ang OEM P/S hose, di kinaya yung pressure ng locally crimped which was 1/3 of its price.

Reasonable na yung 1650 labor sa casa. Sa Zee at sa suking mechanic ko halos same price din ang baba ng rack and pinion.

June 27th, 2005 11:01 AM #8i doubt the 1650 is for pulling down the rack. malamang they quoted you the price for overhauling the pump...
i could be wrong pero seems more probable.

June 29th, 2005 02:02 PM #9i hope ur wrong speedyfix, i can get my car tom. sa toyota marikina, they call me yesterday and said na mga P7,400 bayaran ko since may gimamit silang panlinis sa hose but i said diba dapat kasama na sa labor yun. charge me sa repair kit P4,700 wala na daw sila nung 4K na price. so it end up na mga 6K bayaran ko tom. Tanong ko lang sa inyo how can i check na talagang pinalitan nila yung repair kit? Thanks ulit
PS. they can't even adjust my stock alarm sobrang sensitive he dapat daw daling ko sa Toyota Cubao tama ba nman yun
