Parang naka preno kapag unang takbo

help po mga sir, may naririnig po ako na magaspang na tunog kapag unang takbo ng car ko, parang sumasayad ang preno pero nawawala na siya kapag medyo tumagal ng kaunti, pinatingnan ko po ito at sabi kinakalawang daw ang preno at ipalinis ko.. ANy other suggestion mga bro kung ano ang problema at kung tama ang sabi ng mekaniko ko; ano ang magandang gawin ko sa issue na to... salamat po mga sir...

Your brake might be "binding" to the rotor. It means the calipers are stuck against the brake rotor. Have your brakes checked and serviced. There might be some rust or dirt that might be causing it.

Thats the most common problem now a days when you run your car in flooded area the piston in brake caliper got rusted causing stock up . So what my fellow NB suggest have it checked and serviced.

If no mechanical problems were found like stuck up piston or faulty pads/rotors, then it is because of rust formation on the rotors.

This happens when:

1. The car was washed and the brakes were, as a result, got wet.
2. As already mentioned, your car came from a flood or rain several hours earlier or the night before.
3. Dog pee... nuf said.

The rust occurrence and its effects are considered normal and will eventually wear off after a few applications of the brake pedal.
