    thanks for the replies. mahal pala talaga and considering surplus pa. Hindi kaya ako bigla mawalan ng control sa steering wheel kung hindi ko muna pinagawa?

    If you weld it up, the steering column will get driven into your chest/face area in the event of a crash. Not very good.

    Galing lang ko sa SP awhile ago. binaklas ang buong steering column papunta sa gearbox, ayos naman daw ang bushing and coupling so walang parts na pinalitan. After binalik ok na, nawala yung lagatok pag dumadaan sa mga lubak. Siguro may lumuwag lang daw. Hopefully hindi na bumalik ang lagatok.

    yeah at first yun ang naisip ko pero hindi ito ang collapsible link, ang collapsible link nya is using pin at in the event ng crash, mag collapse parang telescopic. This rubber bushing I think is secondary link lang gaya ng u joint. this is with my car before.
