Currently need to replace my tires with new ones, went to bridgestone earlier at the fort and found out that theres a 275/70R16 size with just a few hundreds difference from a 265?

Would it be advisable to use 275 than a 265? for use, looks etc?

    Thanks

    Negative. Stay with 265.
If you use the 275 you may have to change rims otherwise you are prone to a blow out.
    Which may spell disaster motoring.

Go for 275s if you like. The increase is still quite small really to be of any real concern to performance and safety. Ask Bridegstone to test mount one tire so you can see how it comes out first.

We did the same on our Patrol GU before as the stock 265/70R16 tires were quite small (we could have even easily gone up to 285/70s with no problems).

i agree... stick to manufacturer's specifications... but also ask the people at bridgestone if its ok to use 275 since thats their expertise.

Pajero Fieldmaster Gen 2.5 Bridgestone tires, 265 or 275?
