Sept 2017 TCP Article:
Spot the Difference.
Know which one is fake and which one is a Genuine Bendix brake pads. Bendix is an Australian Company that specializes in brakes and clutch components since 1924.
The Fake one is the one with X mark. Notice the label on the top cover? Font and layout is not the same as well.
Know what you are buying. Save you car and hard earned money.
The rest of the pics are coming from the Authentic and Genuine Bendix product. Notice the serial numbers and where it is printed on every brake pads. It’s also bounded by BLACK rubber bands and wrapped with clear plastic wrap. Take note the white font on the pads and how it was packed at the factory.
Under the box has the markings "f" with a red box. Top of the box should have the model number of the pads and a drawing how it looks like. Once you open the box it also has that info and red label. One side of the box shows the vehicle application chart. While the opposite side shows you the advantages of using ceramic pads.
Lastly the last photo is the front of the box.
Purchase wisely team 😊
