Just received the Bendix brake pads I ordered via Lazada. It's for our Mirage.

We'll have the pads installed at a Shell service center. I'll post photos soon.

Hi, SE...

Umm... my brother-in-law replaced the pads when Hubby and I were at work!!! Hubby asked for the box and the old pads, but brother-in-law said the box has been thrown away by mother-in-law, and the old pads were sold sa manong na bumibili ng scrap metals...

I should have immediately taken photos of the package when I received it at the office on January 11. We left it at 'home' as we were planning to have the pads installed at a Shell station in Malolos [this past Saturday]. When we arrived 'home' on January 12, the job was all done. I'm grateful for saving 400 Pesos, but Hubby and I didn't get to see replacement process.

We test-drove the car, and in fairness, no more brake noise; but we heard a kalansing sound when the car's cruising. Brother-in-law said it's because the pads are still thick, at di raw nya hinasa. Do you think so?

Anyway, since I bought it from Lazada, here's the link to the product. That's how the actual box looks like on the front side.

Oh, by the way, I also received an official receipt, which I didn't expect. The shop is from Maybunga, Pasig City. Unfortunately, the OR was thrown away together with the box. Can't complain, you know... But here's a couple of snippets of the delivery e-mail from Lazada.

Hi. It's 1,550 from Lazada. Casa quoted 4,800 for OEMs, not sure what the brand is. My officemate, who lives near Banawe, said it's 2,000.

So... I think I got a pretty good price

^mas mura pala sa vios, got mine for less than 1k. I guess common and mabenta kasi.
Pero mura na yan vs. oem, btw canvass ka narin rotor para may idea ka sa replacement. Ok so far yun bendix rotor na gamit ko * almost 20k km

Thanks, sir yes, we plan to be thrifty with this daily drive. We're both satisfied with the Bendix brake pads, and Bendix rotors are already planned for. We just don't know where to get one yet, not available on Lazada
