i notice my vios is running rough only when I apply the brakes but it disappears when I shift to neutral (vios matic 2006 1.5g).

initial search for symptoms point to brake booster, vacuum leak daw...

    anyone can confirm this?

no other problem with my ride, brakes working fine, just the annoying nginig pag brake to stop, minsan ingay ng hood ko but shifting to neutral stops it

    thanks in advance

    Chief,

Kindly check the following: 1. Brake booster vacuum (as mentioned above, though with the age of your car, mukhang malabo pa). and 2. Idle compensator (Dont know the exact name, but it is the one who adjusts or maintains the idle when a mechanical load is applied, or should I say when you're shifted to "Drive"). Thanks
