Need Help: Noise in Braking

it may be the pads themselves. if they are cheap pads like rico or similar brands then malamang yun na yung cause.

i recently had my rear brakes resurfaced and after two sets of rear brake pads, ferodo and rico both are still noisy and the brake dust its very annoying.

is bendix standard really noise-less and dust less? any other recommended pads?

definitely not dustless but pretty quiet compared to the other brands you mentioned.

ganyan din nangyari sa corolla ko. yung sakin naman pagmabilis takbo tapos malakas pagkakadiin ko di tumutunog pero pagkamahina lang apak ko sa brakes yun dun sya tumutunog ng "tukutok tukutok." hehe..

ipinagtataka ko nun kse knowing na sa rapide shaw ko pinagawa yung refacing ng rotors at sa kanila ko na rin pinapalitan ng brakes. ilang beses ko rin sa kanila dinala para maayos pero balik at balik pa rin ang tunog. nagtry din ako sa iba pa shop pero ganun pa rin..

at sa huling pagkakataon dinala ko uli sya sa rapide shaw(iba na pangalan ngayon) at nakilala ko si mang Benny. ang mekaniko na nakasolb ng aking matagal ng problema. alam nyo ba ginawa nya? nilinis nya rotors at pads ko..
at yung susi sa pagkakawala ng tunog ay yung maglagay nya ng grasa dun sa.. di ko alam tawag basta yung parang bolt na naghohold ng pads. yun kse yung naglalaro pag umaapak at nagrerelease ka ng preno.

hay sa wakas nasolve din ang aking "tukutok" problem..

There's no such thing as a dustless brake pad. The braking process itself requires some dust release at brake friction to avoid juddering of the rotors.

There are low-dust pads and there are high-dust pads, but no "dustless" pad exists. Be grateful for brake dust, if not for that "annoyance" you may not be able to retard your speed.

bendix user here, hmm wala naman ako napapansin, kasi kakapalit ko lng, pero nawala ung squeeking sound pag ni-tapak ako sa brakes... update ko toh,

dude, ung piston ng brake assembly mo yan, e1 ko kung tama pero yan ung pagkakaindinti ko nung problem sa Car ng neighbor ko... kelangan mo na syang palitan, kya nilagyan ng grease, para lng temporarily di mag ingay...
