I am actually using Dunlop SP Sport. IMO, tahimik talaga at maganda ang ride. Pang highway/paved road.

Ive called different shops yesterday and all that they have that is within the top10 of tirerack's tires are the Yokohama Geolander H/T-S G051 which is currently ranked #3. Has anyone here have any experience with this tire? Any good/bad experience? Baka kasi iba nanaman ang nasa pinas na stock and yung nasa US (like the goodyears, we only have the normal Fortera while in the US, available yung Fortera Silent Armor).

Anyone also know if these are available here:

    Goodyear Fortera SilentArmor
    Yokohama Geolander H/T-S G051
    Kumho Road Venture HT
    Michelin Cross Terrain SUV
    Michelin LTX M/S
    Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza

    Goodyear Assurance ComforTred
    Goodyear Assurance TripleTred

    Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z
    Bridgestone Turanza LS-V

By the way, may i know what disadvanges i would get if i used passenger tires on my Ford Escape? I get mixed reactions from this. Some say ok lang as long as you dont drive off-road. Some say lolobo yung gulong.

I mainly drive alone and short distances lang and i never go off-road. In this regard, would it be better if i go for passenger tires as they say that it is much quieter than SUV tires? thanks.

Passenger cars are generally lighter therefore, their tires have less plies than tires for SUVs or Vans, pag mas mabigat ang load, mas maganda and safer ang tire na maraming ply. Ok lang siguro gumamit ka ng passenger tire kung mag isa ka lang sa sasakyan, kaya lang pag nadagdagan ka ng ilang passengers tapos may ibang dagdag na load pa baka di na kayanan ng passenger tire. IMO, stick to tires made for your vehicle rather than taking a risk.
